In Focus: The PAX 3
Brought to you by the makers of the PAX and the PAX 2, the PAX 3 has hit the shelves and could not be a greater hit. Revolutionizing the way vaporizers work, the PAX 3 makes the dilemma between loose leaf cannabis and extracts or concentrates a thing of the past—the dual use vaporizer, now, gives you both.
On the Surface
The PAX 3 does not veer away from the PAX 2 in terms of its shell. With the same dimensions and well-designed ergonomics, the difference is simply in the high-polished anodized aluminum casing, as opposed to the PAX 2’s transverse-brushed anodized aluminum casing. From it’s predecessor’s selection of colors, which include charcoal, topaz, flare and platinum, the PAX 3 offers instead black, silver, gold and rose gold.
Amidst similar faces though, the PAX 3 allows the use of both loose leaf and extracts. Further design advancements include a faster warm up time of 15 seconds, leaving the PAX 2’s 45 second warm up time lagging behind in the race. This simple yet game changing feature now allows for up to 200 puffs of uncompromised vapor quality on a fully charged battery.
Close Up: A Review of the PAX 3
Given its extended features, the PAX 3 is given additions to its kit of parts. Included in the box are the PAX 3 unit, 2 mouthpieces, a magnetic charger, the multi tool, chamber covers and a card for the smartphone app.
The PAX 3 unit, with its signature LED logo with four petals retains its refined and elegant exterior. The flower LED logo, more than being recognizable among those in the vaping community, serves as the signal of the warm up process, shifting from purple to green when ready and to blue, while on standby mode. Along with the unit are two different mouthpieces, a flat one and a larger one, with an extruded mouthpiece, for users with varying preferences. Three oven lids are also included in the kit, with two for dry herbs and one for concentrates, as well as three chamber covers. A conveniently snapping magnetic charger and a multi-tool, which makes packing and emptying the oven are also included. Lastly, upon opening the kit, a card that allows for the download of the new PAX Vapor app is included, allowing each user to set his or her own preferences.
The PAX 3 brings forward a design that not only makes the vaping experience more efficient but also a more personal and intimate one, with its customizable settings. Certainly, the PAX 3 doesn’t fall short of its hype and does its name justice. With its simplicity, elegance and intelligence, the PAX 3 leaves the vaping community anticipating for what PAX Labs Inc., has in store for the future.
